Perfect Nav - can't remove it

My teenage son's laptop has got PerfectNav on it, probably from Kazaa (yes, but will they listen?)

I've tried CWShredder but without success, and followed this -

- but the registry entries are absent and the files in C:\Program Files\PerfectNav\ are not deletable being in use.

Any other tips to delete this extremely annoying adware?

(Also if winme or winxp dont forget to disable system restore before running repairs and always worth a try to boot in safe mode when deleting stuff.)

Yesterday I had a virus on the network, although it was a different one. Grisoft's AVG detected it but was not able to remove it. Neither was I when I tried to delete "winupdate.exe". So I renamed its file extension, removed all corresponding entries in the registry before I finally thought of the process list in Task Mgr!

Duh, winupdate.exe was running and that prevented it from being deleted!

You might want to check your running processes and check the listed files against
