I'm working on a report that will do some calculations. The report will basically tell the user what percentage of deadlines that a department has missed. I'm using two fields, one is dateDue and the other is dateCompleted. If the dateCompleted falls after the dateDue, then it's a missed deadline. How do I get the percentage of missed deadlines? I've been trying to do it with expressions, but I haven't had much luck yet.

Thanks!

I think this is actually a maths question rather than a report design question.

I suggest to get the dateStart data first. Then you can get how long the department planned to spend on a task (DaysPlanned), and how long the department missed the deadline(DaysMissed). Finally, you divide the DaysMissed by the DaysPlanned to get the percentage.

Hope this will help.
