I have a rpt that requires percentage of total. I have no stored procedure. My database report select is further modified by a group select, elimination of zero balances and some specific other things. I created running totals based on both the group1 and group2 balance and outstanding information. now my customer wants percentage of totals for group1.
Group 1 is Region1 Active, Region1 Matured, REgion 2 Active,
Region2 Matured (4 groups)
Group 2 is State (based on select formula translating number to text)

I want a calculation at the end of each state dividing the total balance of past due loans by the total outstandings for each state (Balance/outstandings) for a quick percentage of how much is past due for each Group 1.

It seems an easy thing to do but I can't seem to get the concept. It can't seem to resolve the running totals for me to use in any formula. Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

Running totals are not always available for calculations as you have found out.

Why are you using running totals? If you have good record selection formulas can you not just do normal totaling nad subtotaling?
