Guys,

I have a Report which has Attribute 1, Custom Group, Attribute 2 and a Metric in that Order.

The metric is a count Metric. I am creating a Derived Metric from this Count Metric to calculate the "Percent To Total". I want it to calculate at Subtotal of The Custom Group. But as the custom group is not an attribute the percent to total cannot be calculated at that level.

Any idea if there is a work around for this.

Thanks in advance

If your custom group is made up of single attribute, then you can set your metric dimensionality on that attribute to filter by or ignore. Filtering the attribute gives you the subtotal, ignoring it gives you the total. Take the two metrics (filtered / ignored) give you percent to total. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for your prompt response.

The issue is that the Custom Group is not made up of just one Attribute. Any more ideas?

Even if it is made up of multiple attributes, you should still be able to set dimensionalty on the metric to ignore the custom group, there by giving you the Total metric. Set the dimensionality of the total metric to exclude the custom group by removing the report level and adding the two attributes to the dimensionality.

As long as your custom group doesn't use a metric qualification as a custom group element, it should work.
