percent of total in a crosstab (cr 8.5) 1

I have a crosstab which has all of the sums , now I just want to add a percent of total next to the sums.... I've tried inserting another Sum Field and changing its summary function to percent of total, but it's not an option....
Here's an example of what I have:

seattle portland LA total
dog toys 15 26 10 51
cat toys 24 16 8 48
treats 14 9 12 35
total 53 51 30 134

I simply want to add percentages of totals next to each summation......

Is this possible in crystal reports 8.5????

I'm not sure about 8.5, but with 8.0 you would have to do a manual crosstab by creating formulas like:

if {table.city}= "Seattle" then {table.value}

Group by {table.toys} and you can insert summaries on the formulas--subtotals and percentages.

I am also encountering the same problem..can u help us regarding this matter.... im using the old version of crystal Reports which is ver 7..can i also apply the same formula???

I'm not familiar with 7.0, but a manual crosstab wouldn't be version dependent. There are a couple of FAQs on creating manual crosstabs that you could take a look at under the FAQ tab above, or you could post back here after trying the above with any further questions.

Or if you upgrade to Cr9, you can do percentage summaries in there. You have the option of making the % of the column or row total.

That, plus horizontal alignment and labels are some of the great improvements of crosstabs in CR9.
