I have an old dell 6300 server that is running as a SQL7 Database server. drive 0 went toast on it and I am not that familliar with dell servers, all I want to do is replace the drive and rebuild the array. does anyone have any documentation on the proper proceedure or know of the best way to do this on a production machine to cause little down time?

thanks
Kevin

The server should have Dell Open Manage Array manager installed - if not, download it from Dell's site (it's with all the drivers for the server. Then replace the drive - it should be hot-swapable if it's an SCA drive.
