We have regional offices with two different business units in each office sharing the same PBX and trunk routes. One unit requires caller id on all calls - no problem there. The other unit requires that caller id be supressed on PSTN calls and that it be allowed ON-NET Sprint VPN calls to other regional offices. I think we can get the name to pass on Sprint even if we are not allowing the number to be passed on the station level but is there a way to block CLID to certain routes and allow it on others on a station to station basis? Thanks in advance.

you can't pick clid on a route, just on a station.. but if they are pri you can adjust the route to intermal and modify the rcap on your dch

Actually, with the CPP (Calling Party Privacy)Feature, you can set, on a route by route basis, if the CLID will be sent or not, and if CPP Override is allowed.

See the Features and Services NTP for Calling Party Privacy options based on the set and route.
