PEP tries to run for no reason

We have a lot of users, who for no reason get a prompt that their PC wants to install the NS040107G015C PEP for the Symposium client. The user isn't even running Symposium or trying to access it. Anyone else see this and have any ideas on how to resolve?

are your p.c's imaged if they are then that could be the issue seen this before onsite.

you can't image a symposium client, it has to be installed with admin privliges
