Does anyone know of any existing PeopleSoft data models?

Does anyone understand Select SE product and the models "supplied" by PeopleSoft enough to display/report on pieces of them, and explain what are the differences between the models?

The Select SE PeopleSoft models are based on the individual applications within the ERP software (ie, GL, AP, etc). The models are delivered with the PeopleSoft install.

In my workings with PeopleSoft data models, I've found better tools than the Select SE version provided with the PS install.

It's easier to use a good program and perform reverse engineering based on values in PSRECDEFN than use the old version of Select.

Most of the requests I receive, for reporting on data models, involve the population (migration of historic data) of PS tables with flat-file data, and managing data integrity. I reverse engineered the entire ERP package to create the default table loading sequence prior to PS making default table loading sequences available for 7.5.

They are a tremendous advantage in planning and creating a customized training database that can be used in a SU atmosphere on a desktop. Creating the customized database allows the client to train with their own (limited) data.

The models are also very helpful in determining the effects of any record customizations on related records.
