Hello,

i am having trouble with pedit. What cause line to not want to join together when using the PEDIT command?

I have a bunch lines that i want to join together to create a single polyline, and it's not working. Some of them came together, but the rest won't do it.

Why would this happened?

Thanks,

Sylvain

Do the end points of each line 'line up'? I have had this happen where I thought they should line up, but were off by a little bit. If you select one of the lines, click in the endpoint grip, move you mouse and select the end point of the line to which you want to join it, then try the pedit command again.

Besides endpoints touching, all line endpoints need to have the same "z" value (be coplanar).

If there are just small gaps that are otherwise acceptable, try using the "pedit" "multiple" "join" procedure, then specify a "fuzz factor" that is greater than the expected gaps.

Ok Thanks I will try this

Thanks,

Sylvain
