Pegasus Opera Foxpro data/Access 2000 linking

Since updating to Access 2000 I am unable to run my Union and Select queries. I have tried various methods of linking the Opera/Foxpro 2.6a data with ODBC drivers, to no avail, I am not familiar with ODBC. The error I get when running refers to an ODBC call failure. I have refreshed the links using links table manager, this does not help. I am not using Opera 32 bit. While using Access 97 I had no problems. I am really struggling here, can anybody help please?
