Peer-to-Peer sharing>!??!?

Scenario:
Internal Lync user that is connected to the domain.

External user that is within our company but is on an external connection not on VPN.

When the internal user opens and IM and wants to share a monitor or excel sheet or anything that is not a powerpoint or whiteboard session it fails within seconds.

When you share a powerpoint first it opens a group chat then you can share whatever you want after the powerpoint is shared. Has anyone else seen this before?

Resolved, needed to add static routes from my edge internal interface to all subnets on my lan.
