Hi,
I have been using a peer-to-peer network to connect my two computers successfully for over a year with no bother. Recently one of the PCs crashed and i had to re-install windows (XP Pro) Now, despite both computers reporting that the connection is "enabled" there is no apparent communication over the line and the PCs cannot "see" each other. A friend suggested that this is almost certainly an IP issue but when I first set it up, the Network Connection Wizard took care of all that. Now the wizard just says "unable to resolve IP - please contact your network administrator"!
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
Many thanks
Jim
