Does anyone know where i can find good information on how to setup peer to peer networks. How many clients can peer to peer network have?
What is good software to send email from one computer to another within a workgroup?
Also what would be a good firewall for this sort of network?

Some references:

Realize that there is no real limit, although performance degrades the more PC's that are added. The "taught" number to stay under is 10. However, it's not uncommon to have up to 20. A domain structure should be heavily considered though when going above 15.

It really depends on what you are doing and trying to protect.

If it is just for internet access and not a web site, most consumer routers include a 'hardware' firewall that incorporates Network Address Translation (NAT) firewall functionality and Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), to help secure and protect your network from hackers and malicious attacks.

If for a web site you may want additional security provided by a specific security device that can be a separate PC running LINUX as a firewall or Microsoft's ISA.
