Hi,

I am trying to set up PEAP Authentication on my 802.11b network.

From what I have read PEAP requires a Certificate installed on the RADIUS server.

I understand I can use certificate for which I already have the Root CA certificate unstalled on XP Clients or Win2K Client (with the 802.1x Hotfix applied). That whay I do not need to issue Root CA Certificates on my clients.

But where to I buy the required certificate ?

Do I need one per RADIUS server ? Or can I just use one. I have two RADIUS servers.

Do I need one one certificate per wrireless client ?

Thanks
Ummagumma

See if this helps, it provides the basics as well as some usefull links:
There are some Radius issues, my best advice is to enter into Google the request "xp peap"

If you are using Cisco routers, the Cisco site has some valuable information.

You should plan on moving to WPA in the near future.
