Anyone know where the commission percent is stored.

When you enter a commission in the price file. It accepts and saves the percentage. I need to write a report to pull this field.

Peak Data told me there was a table called OEPDSCOM, but its not in there.

Thanks

Zbob,

Are you on the SQL version or the pervasive version? Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Exact Macola, eSynergy, and Crystal Reports

Zbob,

Assumming you can access the data when no one else in actively using Macola, go into your price code fiel and make a change to a record. The go to windows explorer, browse to your data directory, and sort the files by date.

This should indicate which file was most recently written to.

I hope this helps. Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Exact Macola, eSynergy, and Crystal Reports

I tried this already and the only file updated is the oeprcfil.

I know its updating somewhere. Peak data is being of no help.

We installed the update about 5 years ago and have never had a need to use any of there upgrades

It works great, I just can't find the data being changed.

How do you know that the OEPRDFIL is not the right answer?

its not in there. No Commission percentage, I looked in all the fillers and another field that combines custnum and itemnum.

If the developer's app doesn't update the DDF's to reflect table changes he has made your not going to see the field if you are using a tool that depends on the DDF's to access the data, such as Access or Crystal. This is a common failing of Btrieve "enhancement" developers. Most do it on purpose to shroud their apps in mystery. Contact them to see if they will supply a set of DDF's that are correct.

Zbob,

Shoot me an email and I will email you the .ddfs that contain this table. Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Exact Macola, eSynergy, and Crystal Reports
