Peachtree First Accounting 1

If I use First Accounting for a small business, will the date transfer to Peachtree Accounting? We can't afford $200 for the bigger package, so we will have to start small.

Peachtree First Accounting converts to Peachtree Accounting. All the transactions and list information convert to the bigger package.

Thank you for your reply. I do believe that at this point the First Accounting package will cover our needs, at the price we need.

I have ordered the 2003 version ... how is the reputation of this program ... our business is primarily service with a smattering of inventoried parts. Laura Velez, MCP

Peachtree has won many awards. The software has been in existence since 1991 and won an award every year.

Most users of accounting software have heard of Peachtree, so it has a strong, brand name.

Peachtree is here to stay and will continue to upgrade their product lines.

Yes, thank you, but I was really referring to the First Accounting version, as opposed to the PeachTree Accounting or the PeachTree Complete Accounting. Many many years ago, I used the last DOS version quite extensively. Laura Velez, MCP

Peachtree First Accounting is a simple version of Peachtree Accounting and Peachtree Complete Accounting.

There are features that are in Peachtree Accounting and Peachtree Complete Accounting but not in Peachtree First Accounting. For example, purchase orders, sales orders, customizing your financial statements and forms. Therefore, I would still rate this as a solid product--great, for the business owner just starting out. The other versions give you an opportunity to upgrade when you are ready.
