Hi all,
Doing some preliminary research for a new client, and I found in their ntbackup logs that quite a few of their DAT files (for Peachtree) are in use when the backup script runs at midnight. This is a 9-5 company, and the GM claims that nobody is logged in past 5PM. just curious is anyone has seen this with peachtree before (assuming the customer is always right), or if I am just going to have to do some more detailed logging on why ntbackup believes the file is "in use". (most of my experience is in Oracle-based ERP systems, so this is new to me). Maybe there is a way to ensure that everyone logs out of the Peachtree app? are there services associated that could cause this?
Any advice would be appreciated.
(running Windows 2000 server with SP4, and the peachtree files are the only ones in use, according to the backup log)
