You may need to be a little more specific than that. Do you mean your harddrive crashed and you don't have a backup? You restoreed your backup but corrupt? Try a little more detail?
Sorry about that. I copied the \peachw folder to another computer and the original computer that the app was installed on crashed. I do not have a .ptb file to restore from, all I have left is the \peachw folder. I installed Peachtree on a new computer and then copied over the \peachw folder and when asked to open an existing company I directed it to the folder. When I opened the company there was no data. Since then I have done a Start -> Run C:\Peachw\peach.exe -i and then a repair on the database and it seems to be working. I am a little worried though. Do you have any other suggestions?
Yesterday I have a big problem like it. In my case the computer had other peachtree version, and I update it with peachtree 2003. Only software update, and when I run peachtree look that it be installed in the same directory of the old peachtree (so upgrade) but my old database was lost. I do not have a .ptb file to restore. The only COMPANY.DAT in C:\ are the demo company.
In add / remove program only exist 2003 version (so upgrade)
How I can restore it????
