Peachtree 2003 Complete vs Regular 2003 access

I (erroneously) assumed I could access Peachtree Complete data with a new copy of Peachtree standard - that I just couldn't utilize the added functionality. Now I have a new copy of Peachtree that can't get to my other machine or data. Any suggestions - is there a standard to complete upgrade or have I purchased a very expensive doorstop.

Peachtree Complete Accounting for Windows is the highest end of Peachtree for Windows product line.

You can upgrade from Peachtree First Accounting, Peachtree Accounting and Peachtree Complete Accounting to a version of Peachtree Complete Accounting for Windows (as long as it the same version # or a higher version #).

I am not familar with the term "Peachtree standard".
