I have created cab files for floppy disks for my installation an installation of my VB6 program.

When I run the installation on a Win 95 computer, it works. But on Win 98 machines, the installation starts and goes until I get this error:

"Cannot find the source file 'C:\VBINSTALL\@cstext32.ocx'"

Yet, I looked at the cab files, and 'cstext.ocx' does in fact exist in one of the cab files. I looked at 'setup.lst' and there seemed to be nothing unusual about the line that listed 'cstext.ocx'

Anyone have any ideas?

Just to clarify

Maybe just a typo Brian but the message says can not find
cstext32.ocx and that you located
cstext.ocx (notice does not have 32 in it) ?

Also did you compile your application on a Win 95 machine ?

Yes, that was a typo, my apologies. The ocx is in fact named 'cstext32.ocx'

I compiled the installation program on a Win 95 machine. I have successfully tested on Win 95 and Win 98 machines. However, on some Win 98 machines, it does not work.

Another typo:

The error states, "'C:\VBINSTALL\\@cstext32.ocx'"
