Hi,

Instead of using PDW I would like to package an application with Windows Installer.

Anyone knows where can I read about it?

Thank you

It's not the load that breaks you down, It's how you carry it.

Hi,

I ´m reading microsoft documentation ... and it seems to much complex... to much detailed.

I fallowed the example of 20 pages they have... and had installed the SDK (well, I´m trying to :) )

Is there any utility that help us packaging an application with this technology? I don´t want to make everything "by hand" as microsoft explain. To much information :)

Thank you

There are some free and some pay softwares that use the MSI. InstallShield is available as a free trial, you might want to try that. Craig, mailto:sander@cogeco.ca

HI,

Yep, I will try that because I had used it to standard packages. I found another one from Microsoft that it is free: Installer 1.1

Thank you
