I am currently supporting a product that uses PDQ COMM v3.21 as the communications package. As of late, I have had a number of V.90 class modems that are unable to establish and/or maintain a solid connection to the mailbox that we are using for uploading and downloading of data. Communications with Progress/Crescent has lead to a dead end because the product is no longer sold or supported.
At this point, I have tried all kinds of init strings within the setup for these modems, but nothing seems to be working. It has been determined that it may be PDQ COMM itself that may be causing the problem.
Is there anyone out there that is familiar with PDQ COMM and how is interacts with VB/Modem communications, and can tell me how to get PDQ COMM to work with a V.90 modem?
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
