I've been getting used to using the PIX (come from a checkpoint company) but not sure if the PDM is the better way to use this or should I stick with the command line? By the way, how do I launch the PDM?

It's a personal preference thing. I like using the command line to make changes, and the PDM to view stats on VPN tunnels, etc.

To access the PDM, point your web browser to (where the x's are the IP of your firewall). Note that it is https only.

I'm getting page not available. Do I need to place anything in the config to allow my machine to access it? All I've done is install the PDM. I'm guessing that the username and password stuff will come a when I get the PDM up. The only thing I see in the config file about PDM is "PDM history enable" Thank you

Try these commands:
http server enable
http xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 255.255.255.255 inside (for your workstation IP to access it)
