I get an error like this when trying to connect via PDM:

pdm.exe - application error
the instruction at "0x0046cf0a" referenced memory at "0x53535363". The memory could not be "read"

The system is as follows:
Windows 2003 Server Enterprise
MS SQL 2000 server SP3
DNA Suite 5.2 SP2

All other DNA applications are working ok.

Any ideas ??

Are you running any remote management software on your client? We had problems using PDM and Lan Desk on the same machine...

No remote management that I am aware of. The DNA-suite was installed by our PBX-provider; they were very specific about one thing: do NOT install Server 2003 servicepack 1.
Is it really true that DNA doesn´t support SP1? I would like to be able to apply the same servicepacks to all our domain servers.
Can you tell me if there are any newer servicepacks for DNA-suite than SP2 and if so what they fix ?
Thank you.

I would apply SQL 2000 service pack 4 and perhaps even consider updating DNA to the latest SP4 and see if the problem persists...

DNA 5.2 base and SP1 used to have a problem running on Windows 2003 server with SP1 but that was fixed in DNA SP2...

Another possible cause might be a Windows hotfix that may have been applied...

Regards
