PDF Writer will not install

I'm running Windows 98 and on all of the other machines in the office we have installed Acrobat 4.0 with pdf writer and works great. This one machine we can not get PDF writer to install on but acrobat and distiller work. Tried uninstall and reinstall twice and once going throught the custom install. Any thoughts or ideas.

We need more specific info. Is the install bombing? Are there any error messages? Does it install and just not work?
BSOD? Specifics are the key to your solution.

Sorry about not being more specific but that's it. There are no errors; nothing is freezing or problems when installing. After the install, acrobat and distiller are shown but not pdf writer. I can not select the pdf writer as a printer to use; it’s not even in the printer folder under the start menu. I have even tried adding a printer option, selecting "have disk" and browse the CD and can not find the file.... The odd thing about this, I have installed acrobat, distiller and pdf writer on other pc's with the same system and works fine no problem. Could it be a switch or my default printer has to be something else? I don't know.

Any thoughts?
