Your co-worker probably has Macromedia eHelp RoboPDF (a software program) installed, and you probably do not. Word will not automatically have a PDF toolbar, unless a separate software program is present.
I just upgraded Office XP to Office 2003 last night. The Adobe Acrobat tool bar is still showing on mine. If you go to View, Toolbars, does PDF show in the list and is it checked? Mine shows PDFMaker 6.0.
