Has anyone successfuly had PDF searching work on WSS 3.0 and SQL 2005 SP1?

We have loaded the iFilter from Adobe's website, on both the app and database servers, but outside of this I haven't found any other ideas. Any help here?

i've gotten it to work with MOSS and SQL 2005. that's all i can say =p
