Hi folks. Is there a way to determine what the color specs are for a PDF within Acrobat Reader? I can't seem to find it so I am having to open PDFs in Photoshop and save them as tifs with the specific color profile that I need which seems to mean I lose all the magic (embedded fonts etc.) of PDFs. Any feedback much appreciated :)

Perhaps Adobe should sell a fuller version of Acrobat to pull this off...

Since you refer to this as Acrobat Reader instead of Adobe Reader, you may have an older version. Try downloading the latest free reader application to see what options it gives you. Otherwise, you are going to need the full product.

Thanks jimoblak - I actually have both programs but neither of them seems capable of giving me that info. I guess I'll try opening them in Illustrator and converting type to outline and cmyk 'em from there. No easy answers and everyone wants my money!
