pdf problem with greek ttf text

Hi all,
I have a document in Pagemaker 7 with Greek text using arial greek. The document looks fine on-screen and printed to my HP laser printer.
But when I try to print the document to pdf using distiller, the greek font is lost and is replaced by all kinds of accented characters (anything but greek).
Anyone who knows how to solve this problem?
(I work under Windows XP.)
