I'm trying to figure out why a pdf document prints faster using the driver through Windows (8100 Series PCL) then the driver from HP (8100 PCL 5e or 6). I'd use the driver through Windows, however, it lacks the options of the printer, where the HP's 5e shows them. The document contains text with a scanned text document in the middle. Seems that when you start printing, they both start off fine, but when the printing reaches the scanned text, the HP driver slows down, while the Window's driver doesn't get effected.

I tried to increase RAM from 8mb to 24mb - nothing.
I tried to change the DWS - nothing.
I tried to use more memory instead of HP MEt - nothing.

Please help. If anyone has an idea, let me know. Thanks
