I receive engineering ACAD dwgs in PDF form. I would like to print these on sheets that are half the original size. for example the original PDF was
"printed" to a 24"x36" sheet sizeand I want to print to a 12"x18" sheet by scaling to an exact .5 scale to keep the drawing to something that can be "scaled" with an engineering scale. So far all I can see is "shrink to fit". is there a way to do this?

You need a plugin from PitStop pro to scale the page on printing. I think it's pitstop pro?

Anyway, if you have access to Illustrator, Quark or InDesign, you place the pdf into these applications and scale them by 50%, set the Page size to match and print it.
