Dear all,

After create an Indesign document and save in in Low Resolution PDF, I have to open the document in Acrobat and change the inital view in Acrobat PDF to the following:
Show: Pages Panel and Page
Page Layout: Single Page
Magnification: Fit Page
Password Security> (some password)
Printing allowed: Low resolution 150DPI

I have to do this for every document, so I wonder if I can setup this options in Indesign, so when I open the PDF doc they are already configured.

Any help will be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks for you time reading this.

Dimple Barot.

I have CS1 and that's not available. However, you can set the pdf to open (in the INDD pdf extport settings) after creation. As long as you have Acrobat set as your default pdf opening app, it'll open in acrobat. Then set initial view. that's how I do it.

You might want to do that anyway, because you'll notoice that the file becomes smaller after saving from acrobat.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

...Password Security > (some password) is available in CS2 under security within export dialogue, also the printing allowed setting can be changed too in CS2...

...all those other options you need are Acrobat specific and will have to be changed in Acrobat doc properties as far as i know...
