Hello.
I have about 20 pdfs that are created from crystal reports. These pdfs are accessible online at the client I am at. The client would like these pdfs to be merged into a single file (request of certain managers to click print only once).
I received VB code but I have been having a hard time implementing the logic. Essentially, I cannot add pages to a new PDF document and do this merge. After attempting for a couple of hours I decided to do the merge (Insert Pages...) via the actual Acrobat reader.
Well, I did this and I received the following error from acrobat (which explains probably why the merge in VB wasn't working): THESE DOCUMENTS CONTAIN SUBSET FONTS THAT HAVE THE SAME NAME AND CANNOT BE MERGED.
What does that error mean? Again, these are 2 different PDFs created by Crystal Reports 9.0 Export to PDF. Is there any way I can repair a file to see if it will become "merge-able."
thanks in advance
Jim
