I'm running win98se, just installed MSOffice2000 both disk 1 and 2. Now I'm having all sort of errors.

One is a requested password for Adobe PDF maker. I am a registered user of Adobe Acrobat 5.05 and never had to do anything with a password before.

Also getting a lot of MS VB debug errors, when opening Netscape mail (4.8), CorelDraw 11, and even Adobe Illustrator. Seems like MS Office hosed up my entire system.

Any suggestions please?

Inphoenix,
You're going to have to attack these problems systematically.

First: Reinstall Office over itself. Shut Down, Restart and Defrag.

Do you receive the errors? I've had experiences where the initial install caused problems that were corrected by the re-install.

Still have the errors? Then:

Second: Uninstall Office. Shut Down, Restart and Defrag.

Do you still have the errors? Google the error messages. See if you can pinpoint solutions.

Get back to this forum with your findings.

horqua, I did Google these errors. Can't find anything on debug but did find that Acrobat should be installed AFTER MS Office. What a bummer. I'm currently in the process of cleaning up my registry from MS Office then I will reinstall, check for errors, and if all goes well I'll re-intall Acrobat.

Thank you so much for the suggestions.
