PDF into SWF automation

Hi All,

We're receiving large batches of files that we're scanning, converting to pdf, and then converting to swf. The conversion is all easy enough until we get over to Adobe Photoshop. We can automate certain batch functions but when trying to automate setting page height and width parameters or transparency settings we're lost. Are there any scripts we can run that will take over where photoshop functions end.
