I've encountered a weird glitch with PDFs exported from Quark 7.

I have a file with about 20 layers in it (a basic artwork and then different localisations of the copy). Each time I made a proof, I have my basic layer and one of the text layers visible.

I just made some proofs on which a logo (which is anchored within the text) did NOT appear even though it appears on screen and is linked ok. Re-opened the file later, made no changes to the art and re-PDFed ... and the logo DID appear.

Has anyone else come across similiar inconsistencies or have any explanations or suggestions? Otherwise I'm stuck checking every page of every PDF by eye at each proof :(

I'm using the built in Export to PDF in QXP 7.3 on Mac OS 10.4.10

Hi jonwed
Did you check under Quark Preferences, PDF then Default Options, then check to see if OPI is checked to include Tiff and EPs?
Also under Utillities check your XTensions Manager and Component Status to see if they are all loaded and working.
Hope this helps
