PDF generation using only PHP 3

Does anyone have examples of the use of PDF generation using only PHP (File_PDF)

I found and installed this pear package but needed a little more information on how this works

I don't know what that package is but I could suggest something else:

http://www.fpdf.org/

Its simple to use, well documented, and is written in pure PHP.

I would also recommend fpdf.
