Help, I have a report developed in Crystal that runs for multiple customers, therefore requires a parameter that prompts for the customer name. The report is then converted to pdf format and placed on the customer's portal. My question is... in order to schedule the report via Crystal Enterprise would I have to set up an individual report object for each customer changing the parameter value each time or is there a way to place all customer names inside the parameter to get an individual, separate pdf formatted report. I am aware of the multiple values, but this does not allow creation of separate pdf reports. Thanks.

So is the report contents dependant on the customer name parameter you enter?

For example John would see departments A, B and C
Helen would see departments D, E and F...and so on?

Please clarify what you want to do by using examples, even if they are elaborate ones.

Yes, the data appearing in the report is based on the customer's name entered in the parameter. For example, a report driven by a parameter that is mapped to the customer's name. When opening the report, you are prompted to select a customer's name from the default of names mapped to a database field. Once the report runs, the report is converted to pdf and placed in a customer folder. Currently I have a job that runs for each customer in Crystal Enterprise. There has to be a simpler way to do this. Imagine 50 customer -- 50 objects scheduled to run at different times.

you can pass all customer in one report. Let me know your environment.

So, are you saying to pass all customers in with a stored procedure. The database is Oracle 9i and I'm using Crystal Enterprise version 10. As I mentioned previously, the individual customer's report has to be in pdf format for viewing. I know Crystal Reports will allow for multiple parameter values, but Crystal does not separate each report per customer. Thanks for your help.
