PDF file will not open through Outlook 2003 link in IE7

Hello.. a client of mine is running WinXPPro & IE7. When he receives email with a link in a format like this: (

http://www.test.com/Fila.PDF)

IE will load and give him an error message: Problems witth this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly......etc. Under details it says:
Line 1: 1
Char: 1
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL:

http://www.example.com/exampleFile.PDF

It works on all other machines I have tried it on, any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

There is a problem with hyperlinking to PDFs from Word - and this may be a symptom of the same thing. It is fixed in Acrobat 7.0.8 so go to the Adobe website and download and install the update(s) to see if it helps.
