I created a 328 page PDF file that I am posting on a web site with password protection to open it. The problem is when you attempt to open it from the website it opens on page 5 instead of page one displaying first. I am trying to find out how to make the document open and display page 1 first so that users do not have to scroll up to see page 1. Any ideas on how to correct this would be appreciated.

Thank you!!!

Open the doc in Acrobat and go to p1. The go to File menu/document properties and select initial view. One of the selections is "open to". P1 should be seen there if you have your doc on p1. If not pick page 1. then save.

While in Inital view you might want to make any other setting that would make the thing show up better, like magnification to "fit page" or with, etc.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
