I tried to convert a pdf file (created from a text written in Word97 + MathType) into HTML format using Magellan 4.1 (demo). The straight text converted somewhat properly but the MathType symbols (integrals, sums, greek letters etc.) appeared completely messy in the HTML format. Is the conversion of a more complex text (containing math and special symbols) at all possible with Magellan ? If so, isn't there a direct way, i.e. not through pdf, of converting doc and rtf files (containing more complicated math symbols) into HTML ?
