I installed on Adobe Acrobat Writer 5.05 to an XP workstation. On the first install, I got a read-only install error in the spool file. I uninstalled Acrobat and changed the attriubes of the entire folder. I reinstalled the Acrobat and it went through without any errors or read-only messages, but the PDF writer or distiller was not installed in the printers.
