PDF converter and bar code issues

Has anyone used the PDF converter successfully with a bar code. We put a bar code on a report for security reasons...
I tried to create a PDF file and received an error that "the operation is not yet implemented"...however when I remove the bar code from the report, it works just fine.
The software vendor thinks Crystal PDF converter cannot handle bar codes....has anyone had this issue also??

Interesting...

I just ran a test with a barcode report using Wasp fonts, exporting to PDF, using CR 8.5, 10, and XI:

CR 8.5 Results: works as expected
CR 10 and XI: Displays error message - "Failed to export the report. WASP 39 M - Font is not allowed to be embedded in document."

I used to have the Free3of9 font, but can't find it to test with right now. What version of CR / barcode font are you using?

Thanks for getting back to me. I am using the crystal that comes with Visual Studio.NET
I am not sure of the version of the barcode font. I will get back to you on that.
