pdf changes do no save.

I have an application that stores hyperlinks of pdf files for each records. When the hyperlinks are opened(followhyperlink), the files are opened as an embedded ubject in acrobat 5 professional. The problem is that any changes to the pdf's wont save. It gives no errors, but they just don't save when pages are added.

Any solution.
