PDF as background Image

I'm trying to take a PDF image and put it onto an Access report. The PDF document is a tax document and I need an almost identical copy (document is scanned in by gov.).

The page is actually a sub-report of a much larger report with many other custom designed sub-reports.

Any ideas?

I think you could use a tool like SnagIt (

http://www.snagit.com)

which can act like a printer. You could print the PDF document to the SnagIt program. Then crop the edges and save the file as a bmp. You can then use the file as the report's background.

I love snagit and have already tried what you mentioned a couple of times. I get a good image, but it is still off just a little (appears a little blurry).

I'm not sure if I can adjust snagits settings to capture more accurately or if it is just not possible with snagit.

Any ideas?

The blurriness might be caused by not displaying the image at the exact 100% size of the original. Did you crop the edges some?

I have had fairly good luck using various controls etc to re-create government forms. Some required using small images for logos or other graphics. The lines and different fonts etc where just a matter of twiddling.
