Hi there, network environment with w2k/w2k3 servers only, in which w2k is the first AD server, w2k3 is the second AD server. Now all FSMO roles on w2k3 server, can I say w2k3 is the PDC? Or in w2k/w2k3 AD I don't need to care PDC/BDC at all? Many thanks!

The terms PDC and BDC are not relevant to Windows 2000 or W2k3

As page says, the terms are not relevant to Active Directory domains.

It would be more accurate to say your "FSMO Master DC" - but considering that you can move FSMO roles to as many as 5 different servers, even that's not the best way to refer to them. I would probably suggest you refer to your DCs as DCs - some with FSMO roles, some without.
