I can speak for the *clarity* of vonage, and I even had a second PC based soft-phone line about a year ago, but that software came preprogrammed with the right SIP proxy and login information. I'm using IPBLUE's VTGO software on my PocketPC for our internal Cisco CallManager platform and it, too, is crystal clear, so that can at least speak for the clarity of softphone on PDA's. As long as Vonage will provide the right credentials for your PDA softphone, then you should be O.K. Coolness factor aside, though, I think in the long run you'd be happier with a standard ATA adapter and a cordless phone. <grin>

I was really referring to a standard cordless phone. I didn't realize you were trying to do this in a work environment. In that case, don't forget that you might have to setup some port forwarding in your router. Not sure if the Belkin supports UPNP correctly. I know I had problems with their original Pre-N wireless router and Vonage.
