Hi All,

could someone give me advice on connecting a pda to exchange remotley. I have a HP WP6915 with Windows Mobile Ver. 5.0 5.1.195 Build 1957.2.3.1. I would like to be able to connect to our exchange over the internet. I dont want to use OWA or OMA I would like a direct connection so that when mail arrives I just recieve the mail. I have tried setting the pda with our external Ip along with user info. When I try to sync I get a error code of 0x80072f0d. This seems to refer to an invalid certificate issue. Can someone help.

Many Thanks Paul...

Well, there are two ways from here. Either you can sync just using HTTP instead of HTTPS, which isn't secure, or you can install a public trusted cert on your server and sync properly. There are somewhat complicated ways to publish a free self-published cert, but since the GoDaddy certs work pretty easily and are so cheap (less than $30), they are probably the best way to go.

GoDaddy's cert requires the installation of both the cert and an intermediate cert on the server, but it's not too difficult, and they provide good documentation.
