Hi everyone,
last week I setup a temp wireless network, with Cisco AP1200 running IOS. At times I had approx 300 pc's connecting to several ap's at the same time being able to surf the internet perfectly.
However there were also a number of pc's that couldn't connect. They could see the AP but couldn't properly connect to it. Mostly it was because the network cards of the pc's didn't sent out packets. They did receive packets from the AP's,but obviously they didn't get an IP address either.
The pc's were different brands, with different brand NIC, and running W2K and XP. no firewalls running, or turned off.
reinstalled/disabled/enabled the cards and looked in the services, but couldn't get them to work.
Does anyone has seen this before and maybe have ideas what this could have caused this.
Thanks,
Marco
